Step 4: The Fool
At the very beginning of the Major Arcana stands The Fool — numbered zero, the beautiful, open space before any journey truly begins. He represents innocence, new beginnings, boundless potential, and the courage to step forward into the unknown with faith and an open heart. He reminds us that every great journey starts with a single, hopeful step.
The Fool teaches us that we do not need to know every detail of what lies ahead before we start. He reminds us to stay curious, to keep our hearts open, and to trust the quiet guidance within — even when the path is not yet clear.
