She is holding a giant cup as she walks out through the crashing waves. The suit of Cups is all about emotions , the Ace indicates new beginnings. So already you can see the basics of the meaning of this card. In a reading this card could indicate a new relationship, or perhaps a new beginning in an existing relationship. Its a really positive card, cups are associated with water, which ebbs and flows, just like emotions, they also correspond with the season of Summer and all that is light and bright.
Look now at the colours of this card, blue sky and blue sea – the colour blue corresponds to the throat chakra, with communication and being able to say what you think and feel, so this again goes well with the Ace of Cups to build up .
